Not sure I understand what you mean when you say "Since renewing my membership here"....there is no renewal required for members.
However, the crux of your question.....the answer is yes.
Scroll down to the bottom of the forum page and you will see a list of the latest 'Premium Members'. Go to any post made by one of those members and click the 'Premium Member' logo beneath their username. It will take you to a page stating the benny's involved with Premium Membership.
You can also go into your User cp section (nothing to do with Premium Membership) and there is an option you can choose that will eliminate some of the advertising from your screen.
