19 inch wheels?

I am considering 19" wheels. (New CCW 1 piece with 275/305-30-19 with Pirelli p-rossos) For those of you who have or have had 19s, what are some of the benefits and drawbacks?

Is it easier or harder to gain traction when launching the car?

Do 19s really help cornering abilities?

Any rim damage horror stories?

Thanks for your help guys, this is a delimma for sure.

I have 19's in front and 20's in the rear and I like them. Only problem currently with the 20's is the width restriction. When I bought mine 285 was the widest. But I like the looks and I not racing anyway.

I have 18's/front and 19's/rear because I wanted to stay with the stock staggered configuration. I have mini-tub so no problema!

I have 19s on the front and rear. 275 fron and 345 rear.

The number one reason for going with 19s is looks. They fill up the wheel well and have a better overall look to them.

The downside is tire availability and traction from a dead dig. Since a 19' wheel will normally have a shorter sidewall you will have less flex in the tire and more wheel spin.
