427 C5R TT 21st Century Muscle cars delivers BIG

The wait is over and my 2002 ZO6 arrived home last Saturday. John Page and the crew at 21st CMC installed the LPE 427 C5R twin turbo package( they are an authorized LPE dealer) minitubs, Fikse Profile 5S rims, heavy duty radiator, Brembo brakes, LPE clutch along with other miscellaneous items. I haven't had a chance to get much seat time yet but have enough info to report.
I really don't know where to start. The car is awesome in every way. making a post like this doesn't do the package/car justice. One needs to ride in the car to really appreciate what was done. The final dyno numbers were 634 rwhp and 747rwtq on 21st Centurys dyno. This was done on 91 octane gas. Everything you read about the LPE TT cars is true. It starts right up, idles at 800rpm and has a somewhat aggressive exhaust note because we did install the Borla Stingers at the last minute. Other than that its just like driving a stock ZO6 under NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS until the car has reached about 3,000 rpms and you nail it all hell breaks loose. It pulls like there is no tomorrow. Most of my hard driving has been in 3rd gear and above. Before you know it your doing 120 mph and your passenger is going oh sh*#, man this thing pulls hard, and the word I hear alot is "unbelievable". I could go on and on but there is to much to write about it. I will gladly answer any questions and take anybody for a ride and show the car so people can see and feel for themselves. Its a work of art. Its amazing that LPE can package this much HP and TQ into a truely drivable package. Am I going to take it to the drag strip? Not in the near future. Maybe once I get used to it and feel comfortable I will.
On the other side of the coin is the shop who performed the work. Like many of you I have had bad experiences with car mods in the past( not on the corvette but other cars) so I was a bit gun shy. I did my homework and decided on 21st Century Musclecars. John Pages customer service is second to none. He definately lives up to one of his screen names "NO EXCUSES"
He had answers for everything and solutions to any problems that came up. No extra charges, no complaining, no excuses, just a stand up straight shooting person. He wouldn't let the car leave until everything was right.
Would I do it again if I had it do all over again? YES. Is it to much HP? Right now yes, but the thrill will last a long time and I won't be tiring of it anytime soon. LOL. Right now I'm getting used to the car, being careful and learning to drive all over again.
I would like to thank Darrell, Mark, Rick and Matt for all there help and input. Finally all the crew at 21st CMC, JP, Kerri, Andy and EJ you guys did an outstanding job.

Congratulations Doug, I have been waiting for your first impressions. I take it you are not disappointed

You will get used to all that power and then be looking for more. I am going to take mine up to LPE for the variable boost control later this month.

What are your impressions of the Mallet shifter?

The Mallett shifter is great. Firm but not notchy. No vibration and nonoise. I'm glad I chose it. Well worth it.

I have a business in Nevada so the car is registered there and I know of one in Northern CA that just passed smog. He could probably give you a ride he goes by Car Wash King on the CF.

Woowee, that has to be such a thrill! Had you ever ridden / driven in a car with that kind of power before?

Hey Sinco,
That's great!! I was looking forward to what you had to say about your monster! When you get comfortable with the car and play around a little, lest us know about the manners @ town and during cruise and all that good stuff. Just curious! I know and expect that it will be great. However, just wondering since I should be getting my car back in a couple of weeks.

The car cranked up and went out today. John said everything is going great and it should be wrapped up by next weekend. Then she will be heading back home

Anyway, congratulations on money well spent. I look forward to getting my little beast back and filling you guys/gals in on the results.

21 Century MC is definitely 1st class and about their business. A great business to deal with. Once again congrats
