90mm Fast Intake MAP sensor fit issues

Guys I put my 90mm Fast on last night(O2 Z06) and the clearance fit between the MAP sensor and the top of the firewall IS TIGHT! The sensor comes in from the back on the original LS6 intake and was held in by a clip. The Fast will not come in from the back due to the placement of the hole and firewall and it has no hold down clip place. I had to come in from the driverside before sliding intake in place and the harness is tight because it comes from the passenger side. The harness is Banjo string tight (I think I can get some slack by arrangement of harness) BUT it is CLOSE to the firewall I talked to FAST and they said you need no hold down clip?
(It just sits in the hole with a rubber gromment) as far as the
clearance issue they said they know of no issues.
ANY INPUT ON FAST INTAKE INSTALLERS?
Thanks

Tom,

You might try calling Chris Coriell at ECS (609-752-0321). He did mine on my 5.7L engine (and he's done several on some big blocks). I am sure he can give you some advice.

We never had an issue, I have heard of folks having fit issues. I will say some folks put some sealer around the MAP sensor so it doesn't come out.
