hi i have an 04 z06 with heads/cam/headers and a halltech.im running stock throttle body and intake manifold. now my question is: will the 90mm ls6 intake from TPIS and a 90mm t/b add any power,or is stock setup sufficient.currently im at 430rwhp and 400 rwtq.thanks jeff

I was gonna go with an LS2 90/90 combo but heard negative things about that setup. Now I am leaning towards the TPIS 90mm LS6. On their website they put it up aginst a bunch of different intake systems and they prove that it flows pretty dam good compared to the really expensive ones. I think its good for about 20 RWHP with a tune. IMO

Re: 90mm ls6 intake

I am surprised you dont already have a 90mm set up with heads/cam. Should allow more flow. Are you adding on a 90mm TB? The 90mm Intake alone, will it fit/accept your curent TB?

Yes its a pretty good intake if you dont want to spend 800 dollars on a Fast 90.

I dont think the stock LS6 throttle body can fit the 90mm LS6 Intake Manifold. I think the stock LS6 TB is attached via three screws and the LS6 90mm Intake manifold from TPIS is converted to the new design wich has 4 screws that bolts on to the Intake. Therefore you will need a LS2 TB or something similar to that.

Re: 90mm ls6 intake

on the same note, i and wondering if the the stock ls6-z06 intake and TB setup is equal to or better than the FAST 4 barrel TB on a 4150 style retro intake.?? i am putting the ls6-z06 (2004) in a 72 chevelle. I will need the complete FI system as i bought a longblock.
