Another T1 Sway Bar Question

It has recently been suggested to me that I install a T1 Bar in the rear and leave the front bar alone. What do you think?

Bob,

You should NOT replace and use just the T1 Rear bar without the front T1 Bar. You can use just the Front T1 bar and not the rear however.

The reason is it will tighten up the rear too much. Although this may make the car initially a touch faster, the "break" is NOT progressive and imperceptable to all but the most experienced drivers. ie The car will handle uniformly right up to the limit but when the rear traction limit is reached the car will spin easily, without warning and can not be recovered from. It's like falling off a cliff.

It is better to either upgrade with just the Front T1 bar or both Front & Rear T1 bars together

The ONLY exception is when a stiffer front spring such as VB&P Extreme front spring is used with the OEM front bar and then a T1 Rear bar can be used with the OEM rear spring and the car remains balanced.

Don, I knew that I could count on you for the right advice. Would you happen to know where I can get a front T1 Bar for a good price? Is your company up and running?
