That is a pic of a C5R block, internally the cylinders are siamesed with larger water jacket holes. if you flip the blocks over there is more webbing and thicness in the C5R block and there is superior metallurgy in the c5R block.......but externally there is no difference.
Also the LS6 has windowed bottom cylinder skirts. Most C5R's now do also but some earlier ones didn't, however those window's can be easily CNC machined in.
As a side note althought the C5R block is stronger due to the webbing and metallurgy you can actually surpass that strength on an LS6 block by adding Darton's Modular Integrated Deck System and having an either 427 LS6 or a 435 LS6. For that matter the C5R could also have the Darton Sleeves installed to increase it's strength.
