Anyone have the Texas Speed long tube headers on their Z06? Dyno #"s?
Sounds like a pretty good deal for around $600. I'd like to just run those with the stock h-pipe with cats. Anyone running these on their rides? Any details on installation, dyno #'s, likes, and dislikes? Anyone have undercarriage pics with these on? Thanks.

I don't think that will be possible... the collectors are right where the stock cats are.
If you were suggesting that you could just put aftermarket cats on the stock H-pipe I'm not sure that'll work either as teh collector outlet looks to be 3" and the factory pipes are only 2.5".
Call them up and see what they suggest.
Those look pretty much the same as the Dynatechs.
Check out LGMotorsports new "Street" headers, they're pretty affordable and come as a complete system with X-pipe, cats optional.

The LG's are great, but I am trying to be as cost effective as possible and have a simple install. I like to save, even if it's a few hundred bucks here and there.
A true C5 Corvette long tube header system has now gotten more affordable! The Texas Speed & Performance long tube headers are mandrel-bent with 1 3/4" primary tubes running into a 3" collector. The headers are ceramic-coated for the best appearance and heat dissipation under the hood. This package includes reducer connection pipes that allow you to cut & splice the long tubes into your stock H pipe!

The complete system with OR or Catted X is still much cheaper than the LG Streets and you get a Merge X instead of the LG/Magnaflow Crossover X.
I have had coated headers on other vehicles and they have held up for a few years pretty well, but do agree that you get what you pay for in many instances.
Personally I am not a fan of the LG Streets since its only a 2.5" X Pipe with Crossover X as well.
You will have to hack your stock H up and move your Cats slightly, so I'm not sure how you are affected in Cali if you are trying to avoid any of the 'moving of cats or aftermarket ones.' If you can swing it, I would say go with a complete system.
Personally I would LOVE the LG Race System, but its so expensive and every $100 counts on my meager budget and it sounds like you are in the same boat OutlawDon...

If you're on that much of a budget, sometimes compromises will need to be made. True, if you can get a 3" system for the same or less money than a 2.5" system, go for it, but it's a mild steel header instead of stainless so you're still losing something.
Lots of power can be made through dual 2.5" pipes... Procharged Zs are making 550+ with headers welded to the stock cats, through the stock h-pipe and through the stock Ti mufflers.
