Anyone run this wheel / tire combo - DE

I know this tire thing is getting old. Sorry

Hoosier is the planned tire at this point.

275/35/18 on rear 18x10.5 stock Z wheels- Front 25.2"dia

335/30/18 on rear 18x10.5 stock Z wheels - Rear 25.6" Dia

I hear the 335/30/18 will fit the rim even though it is not in the range.

The car has Drm ducts in front and factory brake ducts in the rear.

If not, what are you running on the 18x10.5's all around that works with factory lowering. Trying to run a back up set while waiting for my CCWs. Santa looks like he will be late

Please....Don't want to mess with adjustments at the track for ride height. Looking for confirmed use. Don't mind limited but effective track turn radius with the DRM ducts up front. Don't want to ditch the Rear ducts if I don't have to.

If you have better options for the 18x10.5's all around OK.
Looking for the best sticking option available.

Don't care about driving them on the street. These are for the track only. All I have is the 18x10.5's, sold the 17's.

I can not comment on the tire sizes you are planning to run, you might want to post this over on that other forum in the racing section. Several guys do run this type of setup and really swear by it.

However, with 18's on the front you will chew through DRM brake ducts if you have them. Clearance becomes an issue.

Good Luck.

So 18's are the issue with the DRMs. Kinda thought the offset would help to some degree.

It will but not enough. The stock 18 rims will rub on DRM ducts, ever so lightly. From what I'm told you will wear a hole right through the side of the ducts.
