B&B Bullets vs. Corsa Ti Competition vs. Borla Stingers?
Please help me decide. I want to know the difference in the SOUND of these systems. I know the Corsa Ti is much more expensive and lighter. I have heard sound clips of the Corsa and Borla but not the Bullets. Who has heard more than one and can compare? I am running BPP 1-piece headers and stock cats.
Which is loudest/quietest?
Deepest?
Has least drone?
Best fitting?
Anybody have a sound clip of the Bullets?
Thanks.
Paul

The Corsa Ti is the highest quality and best sounding of these systems, but $$$
The Borla Stingers have a pretty good sound to them and will turn heads, but suffer from interior resonance.
The Bullets are even louder than the Stingers, and will give you a headache.
GHL makes a bullet exhaust which is like the Stingers, they are called GHL Bullets and are higher quality than the stingers, and do not have the interior resonance problems. They are also good b/c aside from 4" tips, you can choose 3.5" if you have an exhaust plate over your rear end. Click on the L.A.P.D. link to the left, 3rd from the bottom. From what I've heard, long tube headers with GHL Bullets sounds awesome and will turn heads, but won't give you interior resonance issues.

I disagree about the B&B Bullets giving you a headache.I drove from Athens Ga to Ft Lauderdale and back over the past 4 days and never once got a headache. This was while going 80 mph on average most of the trip. They are loud yes, but headache loud....not for me at least. It was music to my ears!!!!

BULLETS all the way - I don't know abt the "headache" thing either
However if you wanna good looking and LOUD sys then Bullets - not sure how
much the gains are but she'll sound mean.....
The Bullets weigh 3lbs more than the stock Ti. That's not much more weight with all things considered. As far as the headache issue, as mentioned above, I've never had that problem. Everywhere I go, people are asking me about the Bullets. I stomped it under the freeway the other day and noticed the guy next to me flinch in his car when the Bullets roared to life....COOL!
I have a vid on digitalcorvettes.com under the drag racing vid section that gives you an idea of the sound. Goodluck with your purchase. Sounds like any of the choices listed would make you a happy camper.
I have stingers and a friend of mine has B&B bullets. We both have long tube headers and stock cats. Both are much louder than stock on accelleration. The bullets are a bit louder but neither are what I would call headache makers. At normal cruise both are only slightly louder thank stock.... However, under load and over 3,000 rpm, you won't be sneaking up on anyone with either. I dynoed before and after install of the stingers and I gained 10rwhp with my set up. I think you will be happy with either choice... Aren't choices great?

That, along with its exotic, loud but not at all too loud sound is what sold me. Wouldn't want anything else.

I'm very interested to know how you like this system. I was considering the same one. I'd appreciate it if you kept me posted.
It's a good thing I didn't have they money yet for the Corsa Ti system, because after reading a few more posts, checking prices, and hearing Zlicious's sound clip, I have changed my mind and decided to go with the 2-tip B&B Bullets. The stock system has to be cut behind the cats and welded to install the Corsa system and I figure that the Bullets are bolt-on, so that if I don't like it or ever sell the car, I can put the stock Ti system back on easily. Plus, the Bullets only weigh 3 lbs. more than stock and cost $750 less than the Corsa Ti. I'm sold. Thanks again, everyone.
I have Borla Stingers and was considering the B&B Bullet Exhaust, that is until my friend Guerro got it first. We test drove his car with the Bullet's and then mine with the Stinger's. I have first hand experience and two credible opinions which agree the Bullett's are just ever so slightly deeper at lower rpms. What was interesting is we both found the Borla's to be slightly deeper at higher rpm....say 4000 and above. Overall we found the exhausts too similar for me to justify putting the Bullet's on, so I kept the Borla's.
* both cars had the cats removed*
I am not a big fan of Corsa's, for me the sound was too high pitch and resonance was never a factor when considering my exhauxt, only the meanest, loudest, most aggressiive exhaust note available and I beleive I have it.......save maybe the B&B PRT's. Just ask anyone who has heard my car.
