Pros: 20 lbs lighter than stock

Cons: Cost

Mine lasted about two years before it died. I am back to stock. Mostly because I needed one right away and couldn't wait.

Braille Battery install pic!!!

I am going to get the new 15lb CF one, for the wife's car, and when and if mine dies in the Z I will replace it with that one. Mine has been going strong for 2 1/2 yrs now. But, if I don't drive it for over a week it's on the tender.

Justin

JUSTIN--- check PM----For those of us thinking of going this way: did you use the post top with side post adapters on that? Wouldnt the B14115 work directly? Thanks!

LeRox--- I went right to braille's site and ordered mine, along with their aluminum mounting bracket. I know some here made their own, but ya gotta look good when you go FAST!!

Their site is brailleauto dot com (not sure if they are a supporting vendor so I didnt give the entire link).

I'll put up pics when I get mine in too. I went with the B14115 eleven pounder....

Yea I got mine from Braille directly too.

I have it mounted in a vented box in the center trunk for now, but will be moving it to the right corner using fabricated aluminum after this wknd.

Re: Braille battery for Z06

Nice. Was the aluminum bracket all you needed to mount it or do you also need the side post adapters, j-hooks, etc...???

Aluminum bracket is all you need as long as it is secured. It comes with top mounts posts (the side mount option is $15 more). We haven't actually done it yet, since its still in a battery box in the center, but when we do it will likely be something we make up and nothing off the shelf. I would assume J-hooks would work.

And I took is to the track today and had ZERO problems. I am very happy with my decision.
