Brake pad swap help?

I am planning on going to dura-stop pads anybody have the shop manual pages for the step by step way to change front and rears? I have done brakes jobs before but never on a vette, I would like to look it over before I tear into it......

Thanks,

Dave

The pads on the Z are very easy to replace. Jack the car and support on jack stands. Remove wheels. Front calipers, just remove bottom slider bolts and rotate caliper backwards on the other bolt. Remove / reinstall new pads and reinstall caliper. The rears will require you to remove both caliper bolts as the hose is not long enough to get the amount of rotation required to remove pads. The entire operation should not take longer than an hour.

Just make sure you see how the clips go in as you remove the old ones. And for getting the caliper and new pads back on the rotor, don't compress the piston too much or it will force fluid out of the resevoir. I've only done it once and those are the two issues I had. Do what I did and have somebody that has done it watch you. Right, Brian?

Good luck.
