Brake Pad Wear

Is there a way to visually inspect the brake pads for wear without having to take the wheels off?

The outer pads wouldn't be a problem (flashlight and a mirror maybe) but the inner pads would be a different story. I think you'd at least have to jack the car up and if you're gonna do that it's only a couple of minutes to pull the wheel/tire off.

No, my car is off the ground more than on it so I always check the pads, rotors, lines, bleed the calipers, hubs check suspwnsion parts with the wheels off and on jack stands.

It's the best way and covers everything. That way nothing is missed.
