Re: C5Z06 wheels on C4?
Food for thought here:
I have used my C5 T1 wheels on my C4 Callaway with no problem.
My '90 Callaway C4 has DyMag Magnesium wheels:
9.5x17 Front with 285/40x17
11x17 Rear with 315/35x17
I got in a pinch once where I needed rain tires for my C5 Z06 but there weren't any around except on the '90 Callaway.
The '90 C4 Callaway DyMags fit perfectly on the rear of the C5 Z06.
BUT the front Dymags and 285/40x17 had a severe inside rub and just cleared the front brake caliper on the C5 Z06 by a hair. I cured the front C5 clearance problem by using a 1/4 spacer plate on the front. Interestingly the color match of the DyMags and the 2001 Quicksilver metallic was a perfect match.
Intuitively the C5 Z06 wheels will fit a C4 but the front C4's need a spacer to fit a C5.
