The 315 on an 11" wheel is about the maximum you can fit on a C5 Z06 without clearance problems with the rear brake duct, outer spring perch bracket and inner fender. Thus mini tubbing and removal of the duct is necessary if anything larger, say a 335 or 345, is used in 18" dia.; and a 1/4" spacer must be used if a smaller 17" wheel is used, to clear the spring perch on compression.
The OEM C6 Z06 325 on 12" is obviously wider in wheel & tire size. Consider that the C6 Z06 track is in fact much narrower than the C5 Z06 even with wider tires & wheels. Therefore the C6 Z06 has more backspacing.
Wider tire, wider wheel and more backspacing negates just slapping the OEM C6 Z06 wheel/tire combo on a C5 Z06.
