CAGS Defeat Question

Two years ago I sold my '96 Grand Sport and took the CAGS Defeat off and put it on my '03 Z06. It works fine, but every so often the "shift from 1 to 4" light comes on. At the time, most of the vendors selling CAGS Defeat modules listed them as working from '89 - '04. I see that you can now buy them from '89 - '96 and '97 - '04 separately. The question is, have they changed the C5 version so that the light does not come on? Does anybody know?

Thanks

As far as I know, you have to use LS1 edit to keep the light from coming on. I have it defeated on my '04 Z and the light still illuminates, but the shifter goes where I want it to (2nd).
