I know this is a late update to this post, but when pushing back the pistons you should be bleeding off the fluid, not pushing it back toward the reservoir.

Change your fluid when you change your pads. I use Motul RBF and the Motive power bleeder. It's really easy and fast. I do the bleed right after I change pads/rotors. If you're just driving on the street you can use cheaper standard brake fluid.

Just wanted to add a little trick someone told me when I was changing my front rotors for the first time. The little spring clips from the lug studs... it was annoying to unscrew them by hand. Then I was told you can just bend out the little tab parts all around the clip with a screwdriver, then just slide it off. I guess a lot of people throw them away, but I figure GM put them there for a reason, so to put them back on, just use a pair of pliers and compress the tabs back like they were and push them back on the lugs.

Also about removing those two caliper mount bolts. It was hard! I was able to do it with my torque wrench because it has about a 2' handle which was enough leverage for me.
