Clicking Sound/ Wheel area

New to forum and a New Z06 owner
I recently purchased a 2001 Speedway White Z06 with a little over 16,000
miles. All parts are still original. After driving it for around 200 miles I have noticed what appears to be a metal to metal clicking sound coming from the wheel area of the car. It could have been their when I brought the car home but I hadn't noticed it. I kind of had my head in the clouds I was so thrilled. This only happens after coming to a complete stop and starting out again in both forward or reverse. It only clicks once and stops as soon as their is any movement in the wheels. No sound is evident after that. It also appears to come from different corners of the car at different times. The reason I say this is that in the garage with the windows down I can rock the car back and forth and hear the clicking sound and it appears to come from different corners of the car and appears not to be at one constant location. This is really driving me nuts. Has anyone ever experienced this or does anyone have any idea what it might be.

Re: Clicking Sound/ Wheel area

Worn end links for the sway bars makes clicking sounds. Mine do, but they are adjustable, heim-joint type end links, which are known to make noise. Maybe your's are too?
