Clutch Queston - LS7 vs Spec vs Tex

I am helping a friend pick a clutch out for his 02 z06.

His setup is: Long tube header, intake system and a full catback. He also has some tuning done to the car. Drag Radials waiting to go on.

These are what I have been looking over:

Ls7 clutch and fly for $529

Spec Stage III, where is the best place to buy? What flywheel is a good choice?

Textralia OZ700 clutch, where is the best place to buy? What flywheel is a good choice?

Thanks in advance,

Moon

My vote would be

Re: Clutch Queston - LS7 vs Spec vs Tex

I agree with Norman's rating but you really don't have much in the way of mods done to the car (yet?). $1000 is a lot of money for a clutch. I installed a Tex but I've got 500rwhp. My stock Z06 clutch held out for 43k miles and 21k miles were after a cam install and a dyno of 404 rwhp. With your motor the way it is NOW I would think the LS7 clutch would be a better solution.
IF you are planning on FI or cam/heads then the Tex might be a better investment..

I don't know, I'm clutchless...ughhh...clueless on that. Jimbo can probably answer. My experience so far has been stock, RPS and now McLeod Twin.
