CM discussion 5 sec v.s. 10 sec

I thought hard about this, and decided to check it out.........
My TC/AH in "ON" position, if I hold it down for 5 seconds, it goes to Comp Mode...........
Others say, 10 seconds.........this is no biggie, but, HOW long does yours take to engage??......are some different??

My mistake. I thought mine took around 10 seconds, but just went down in the garage, and timed it. 5.325 sec . I'll try it again on my way to work tomorrow. Seems like 10 seconds when I'm driving.

Yea, it just seems like an hour when you pull up to a light next to another formidable car

In fact, I once pulled up to a light and had another V8 equipped car revving at me, in my haste to get the TC off I took off in 3rd. By the time I got it back in first he was a good ways ahead, finally caught him at the middle of third gear.

Pulled up to the next light, he says "those things don't have much down low do they?". Well, this time I had first gear...you know the rest of the story

Notice this "kill story" is generic in nature
