cold air intake & cut cats out do you need to tune AFR with one of these devices--->

For 2001 Z06:
From what I've read in the archives the rear O2 sensors actually give the computer air/fuel readings so the O2 simulators won't be affective if you cut out the cats? And if you add a cold air intake it will cause too much air flow causing a lean condition? So to correct both of these problems you have to use on of these devices below to get the most from your mods and have the correct air/fuel ratio? Which one will work the best and easiest for the Z06?

1. Ramchargers MAF translator $189
2. Halltech MAF signal box - the AFR $275
3. Split Second ARC1 $264
4. Split Second ARC2 $550

Out of the software and air/fuel ratio meter below which is the best to get the most accurate dial in settings for the air/fuel calibrators above?

1. Autotap software $279
2. Ease Enhanced software $345
3. Split Second ARM1 $139 is the meter

Go to www.teamzr1.com to get the info from the site moderator on the pros and cons of the Ease vs A/T.

A scan should be your first line of defense or attack so to speak.

Also a dyno run before and after mods would be helpful for the wide band 02 readings.

The rear O2 sensors are only there for ODB-II requirements to make sure the cats are running. The PCM gets the A/F ratios from the front O2s.
