column lock help???

i keep getting pull key wait ten seconds, service column lock, on my dtc, what should i do , if i bring it to the dealer how do they usually fix this if it isnt locked at the time i bring it there, also i have my pcm reprogrammed think they will tell if its been reprogrammed?? what usually needs to be replace with this column lock problem??? is it the bcm, the lock cylinder or the steering column relay??

If your column is NOT lock but you are getting the message...Disconnect the battery, wait 10 minutes, reconnect....Should fix ---------- It did mine a couple of times
