Not yet, but I think I am going to do it, just before I put her back on the road next month. I've been meaning to do it, but I seem to procrastinate more lately!

Mines been in my trunk for 3 months. Haven't got around to it. Although its a bummer when it engages it doesn't happen very often. When the light comes on a little more throttle ends the issue:guiness:

It was the first thing I did. I went to my friends garage but his lift
was occupied with a non running van. So I went home, backed the car up on some 2 x 10's and crawled under. I had printed out the step by step instructions and bought the resistor ($.86 for five at radio shack)so install was a breeze. So far I have given 1 resistor away to a friend of a friend that just bought a used C5.
(I also sent him the instructions)
It is nice to not have to worry about that stupid light, now I just DRIVE!!!!!!

I'm one of those who voted no. Since CAGS is so easy to avoid it really doesn't bother me at all. I had it on my Firebird too (my previous car) so I guess I've learned how to live with it. IMO it's not even worth the few bucks it takes to defeat it.
