Does the Z06 wheels come in optional chrome?

I asked the dealer this and they said no- but I see where some of you say that you have chrome Z06 wheels? Are you guys just getting them plated afterwards? Whats that costing?

You can either get OEM wheels from a couple of the forum vendors that are plated (generally done through an exchange program) or you can do as I did and buy a reproduction set of Chrome Z06 wheels and keep your OEM wheels for later if you ever decide to sell the car.

Another option would be to have the wheels high plished and clearcoated, although there was a thread that stated this was not a very good thing on the 02 wheels. The 01 wheels polish up real nice.

Most of the new car dealers in southern Calif send wheels out to be chromed and then add the $$$$ to the sticker. All three of my cars have chrome wheels and they were like that on the lot when I bought them. Yeah I could have saved by buying afterwards but what the heck, it's only money!
