Extended Warranty

Can I still get a GM extended warranty (mine expires in end of August) even if my car has been modified. Wouldn't the warranty still cover non modded parts?

I bought mine used. It came with the GM Major Guard Protection Plan thru 100k miles. I have had it in twice for service with this plan under the $200 deductible. It's probably saved me $3k. They covered everything.

As far as mods, it should be standard GM rules, and my friend has NOS on his ZO6 and it went to the dealer after it was installed so they could inspect it and say that it did not void the warrenty.

WELL, this is a good dealer and they got it by the factory rep. My dealer is awesome however the local roving rep here in Eastern PA seems to need to better his career by busting b*lls, and his opinion of my car is that the warranty is VOID, due to racaing it and the mods.
I was gonna buy the extended warranty, but now I just used that money for an output shaft
How many times have we read on here guys with mods are getting work done under warranty?? Does GM think we bought this car to go for groceries? They TELL us to put more oil in when racing, yet these factory reps make the absurd statement that "if the car was raced, your warranty is void" Now isnt that a line of ??

WELL enuf ranting, my blood pressure is spiking....

You can get the warranty.
But you must complete the extended offer before the expiry due date.

Most dealers just sign you up. Best to go back to the dealer you bought your vette from.

This works in Canada!

-Bill.

And yes, it's really worth it!
You love your car?
Well this protects your wallet and your car!!

Hint: You can dicker with the dealer on the price too. It is not fixed.

BILL that is great up there for you. I would love to hear from a factory rep other than the one here who disqualified my car, explain to me this double standard. I have a $1200 bill that says other wise.
