Failing OEM Valve Springs -- Happening on All Z06s?

I have seen quite a few threads lately about failing OEM valves springs – which makes me nervous. Not sure, but it seemed most were 2002 models, maybe a few 2003s.

I don't recall seeing anyone with a 2001 having this problem. If so, does this mean it's maybe due to the higher lift OEM cam in the 2002+ models?

Or maybe it was just a bad lot of springs in the late 02, early 03 models?

Driver induced due to over revving -- or bad spring metallurgy or ???

Valve spring problem/oil consuption=Very small % of all Zs!

Happend in mine, hope you dont have to go throught it...unless you want a new motor
