FAST 90 Intake - Ported By Tony Mamo

For those members that were considering a FAST 90 Intake, I thought that I would share some information.

I recently purchased a FAST 90 Intake from Tony Mamo, and also had him port it. I can tell you that the porting is excellent, and Tony ported out a lot and I mean a lot of plastic from a stock FAST Intake. I have seen other ported FAST intakes, and none come remotely close to what Tony does.

For those who are interested in installing a FAST 90 intake and want to get the most out of this mod, I highly recommend contacting Tony. He spent a lot of time in answering all of my questions, and a lot of time in hand porting the intake himself. (I will also be pruchasing my NW 90 TB from Tony as well).

I thought that I would share my experience with each of you as many of you have also helped me along with my mods. I will post results when my car is out of storage next spring.

I'd hate to port a new hole in a $800 manifold.

Silvertp -

Due to weather in the Midwest, I have put the car up for the winter and will wait to have the Mamo ported FAST 90 / NW 90 TB installed in spring. Heck, I only have 3000 miles on my 2002 Z, so that should tell you I do not get the car out as often as I would like to.

After talking to a lot people who have had their intake ported from Tony, they all told me basically the same thing. If you are going to do it, and want the most out of the FAST 90 intake, then take it to Tony. Their gains have been 20 - 26 RWHP and 10 RW Torque (H/C cars). Their dyno graphs showed gains across the board, and that was very impressive as I do not race or drag my car, and I was concerned about losing power under the curve. There are numerous dynos sheets on this from the guys who did it on another forum, and if you want those I can point you in that direction via PM.

If you would like more information, just send me a PM.

Yes, the FAST 90 Intake is plastic, but if you saw a stock one compared to the Mamo ported one I have, it would definitely open your eyes and bring a smile.

My biggest regret is that the FAST intakes have had so many problems under boost in blower and turbo applications.

If that wasn't the case, I would have added one long time ago.
