Some of you may remember that my car has a height mis-match between the front/center section of the rear trunk lid and the rear area of the roof (just behind the rear window). The roof panel sits about 1/8 inch lower than the trunk lid at its worse point. What's strange is that at the left and right front corners of the trunk lid, the height matches perfectly.
Well, I saw this pic in another thread, and was looking at those 3 rectangular pieces with the two bolts on each end. I'm thinking to myself that maybe, just maybe, these could be a way to adjust the height of the roof panel height where I have the mismatch.
Does anyone know what these 3 plates are for? ... I'm thinking they attach the roof section to the main cross beam that you see in the pic.
Anyone have or seen a roof off a FRC that could give me some insight before I dig into this further?
