FLP system question..please help!

Whats up guys..for the past hour, i have been searching for some answers for the FLP system, i found some answers, but they were vague, so, if someone can answer my questions that would be great

1- having an 01 Z06 that dynos 345 rwhp, what should my dyno go up to with the FLP system [ headers, x pipe, cats, etc..]

2- Having 2 tip Borlas on, will i have problems installing the kit?

3- My car is lowered about 1.5 inches all around. is there gonna be any ground clearnace problems with this kit? will it drag against the gorund? I dont want this to be a probelm, i also dont really want to raise my car. A buddy said that the system will hang low and hence i migh thave to raise my car. what do you think?

4- Will there be a significant change in the sound of the car with just borals and an intake on as of right now?

5- is this system worth every penny?

Thank you everyone.

Fadi

1) At least 10-15 rwhp with cats , 20-25 with ORP.

2) No. I had that set upon my '02. It was too loud for me and I like loud cars. With the cats on it was tolerable , without the cats you might as well run open headers. It's THAT loud.

3) Your car will be fine. The FLP exhaust doesn't sit any lower than the stock system.

4) See answer to number 2.

5) Yes. the difference is night and day. Check the racing section , I just posted some results with these headers.

They're well worth the $ and install. I have the ORP's with the stock exhaust and it sounds awesome. You will have to decide if you can stand the smell without the cats. I think it adds to the Z's mean attitude! For the $, the FLP's are hard to beat.

Nice system but if I had to do it again..I might look at the newly released kooks that just came out.

I thought at the time of purchase I would have too loud a car to re sell at some time in the future...but the headers simply don't make the car louder to the point where it would be a problem..

Might even suggest TPIS for a very inexpensive alternative.

Just an fyi and I do like the FLP's

is there anything wrong with putting the high flow cats that comes with te kit on the car? how come a lot of people dont use the ORP or the high flow cats? is there a reason behind it, or is it just strictly for sound?

There's nothing wrong with putting the high flow cats on the flp system. In fact the flexibility of going cats or no cats in 15 minutes is one of the benefits of this system.

The reason most run without cats is you can gain about 7 to 10 rwhp by not running them. Its a little louder but not much. In emission states like NJ I prefer to just run the cats on the car.. I believe if you are caught its a relatively large fine not to have cats on the car here and some other states.

I live by my old friend Murphy's law so I have them installed.

Its a nice system and you'll be pleased with it.

Good luck.
