Fog Light wiring question

I plan to add PIAAs to my Z.
The instructions say to tap into the small purple wire under relay #39.
Does anyone know where the small purple wire goes? I assume since the car has no fog lights that the wire goes to the front of the car somewhere and is taped off.

I would like to find the end of it and connect there instead of splicing in under the relay #39.

When mine were done, they just ran a wire back to the fusebox, and tapped in there. I'm not sure the wire exists on a Z06. The GM factory interior switch works perfect though. Good luck.
