Fuel valve on fuel rail?

Hello,

There is a valve on the fuel rail so you can check the fuel pressure. I had to remove this as the previous owner broke the valve inside the rail. I was successful in removing with an easy out.

My question is, can I use any type of valve? I.e. tire valve or is there a special valve designed for fuel applications.

I'd get one designed for fuel as many rubber o'rings don't fare too well against fuels and other chemicals. I bought one from the Stealership when I needed one. They had them in stock.

Took your advice and went to the stealership and ordered one. $12 bucks.
