Gears: To be or not to be?

I've read all I could and there are so many different opinions on which gears but they are from a while ago so I will ask the never ending question.

What gears should I get for my 02 C5 coupe? 390s or 410s? Hopefully will do heads/cam within a year and eventually a blower.

Also, does it make a difference who the gear manfacturer is?

Motive, US Gear, Precision? Is one better than the other (if you know)?
