Scuffed a rear rim a few weeks ago. Replacement rim is here. considering lowering on factory bolts when I replace the rim. For all you guys/galls that have lowered your Zs: are you glad you did it? would you do it again? has anybody gone back to stock height because they were scraping too much?
I'd appreciate the comments - Drew

Lowered mine a couple of weeks ago and love it. Not only does it look better but I think that the car drives better as well. Car just feels tighter. Just do it!
I had mine lowered for about a year and I liked it. However I have raised it part of the wa y back up. Scraping on speed bumps, cracking my splash guards and bottoming out upon rare occaisions pushed me to raising it. As a daily driver I seem to find more and more speed bumps in my path.

I enjoy the look and ride, but I am very careful around steep inclines, speed bumps and road dips. A few scrapes out of sight but overall very satisfied.
Mine is lowered on stock bolts with 2/3 of the bushings cut...it sits a little lower in the rear but, I don't scrape very often. I love it.

Lowered on stock bolts, no cut bushings, rail savers installed.
I love it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. By the way, railsavers are a great peace of mind investment. I've hit them a couple times on big drops. Glad they are there.
