I had Vette Essentials convert my base seats to more comfortable sport seats, and they also added some flair. I had them add the air bladders for lumbar and bolster, and they made the inserts (cushion/back) out of suede so that I don't slide around as much. They also took some material off the bottom of the cushion so I sit a bit lower in the car.
I think they turned out great. I also had a shift boot, door pulls, steering wheel, brake boot, brake handle, and some other goodies added. Makes the Zeeee really stand out now!

What was the cost? I was planning on having a fairly local upholstery shop convert the seat back to the "sport seat" style, for harness pass-throughs. The material I sourced is Alcantera (high-end synthetic suede), and I chose a charcoal grey for contrast. Anyhow, the purpose is for harness pass-throughs, since I instruct at a lot of track events. If the project goes well, and is reasonably priced, I was planning on offering to the list. Of course, if there is a reasonably priced alternative out thier already, this might be redundant.

Lamb,
Did you send them your seats, or did you drive there?
What is that black rectangular patch on the front face of the lower seat cushion?
Will competition belts go through the opening in the top of the seat back?
Finally, what controls the inflatable bladders, hand bulb pump or electric?
Thanks

I drove there - VE is about 1/2 hour from my house.
The black patch is velcro, where future removable storage packs will be installed.
Belts do indeed go through the opening, but I have yet to try it in the car to see if I will actually wear the belts that way.
The bladders are electric, same as OEM sport seats. Had to add the harness, control module, lumbar switches, and bladder/pump assy. Plugs right into the factory wiring harness.

Absolutel awesome guys!
Proud to say Lambinator is a friend of mine and I saw his car at the Detroit/Ontario spring kick off yesterday. Beautiful, inside and out. In plain words a bad M-F!
Todd, when you get a chance please post complete pics of your car.....the other members need to see all your mods!
