I took my Z to Rydell Chevrolet Saturday for some warranty work.I needed the center console replaced the cigarette lighter door would not open or close cor
rrectly.I spoke to Ron Hetzel who used to be a long time service writer.He sent me to Tina and ordered the bezel without looking at the part which i felt was a good sign.My next issue was a 02 sensor shroud rattle.Ron and his top tech looked at it and were aware of the problem.They tried to tighten the rattling end which did not work.Ron ended up ordering 2 new 02 sensors and i could not be happier.The noise was driving me nuts!.So next week i'll replace the parts and see what happens.Well it turns out i find out that Ron is no longer a writer but now the head supervisor of all the techs.So i guess i talked to the right guy.What i learned from this is good GM service is possible if you connect with the right people. Always good to hear that our folks are taken cared off. After all, its not every day someone walks into a dealership and drops a wad of cash of one of these plastik fantastiks!
Boy I need to find that kind of guy here in the Rockies would be nice for a change!!

I take my car to Rydell and have had the same positive experience... and the best part is that they are open until midnight during the week and have Saturday and Sunday hours!

Torched, if you don't mind me asking, why did you need to replace the center console? Was the coating peeling off of it?
Just curious, I may have to get mine replaced for that reason.
