Yes. I have an occasional problem with my car getting stuck in 3rd. I have plans to take it to my dealer and have them replace my aluminum shift forks with steel ones like on the newer Z06's and the Viper.

This has probably happened a half dozen times since I bought the car a year ago. Luckily, it has never happened while doing anything like a DE. Before you think I thrashed the tranny at the track, I have to say that it got stuck in gear before I ever took it to the track.

There are (TSB's) service bulletins about it if your dealer cares to look. Let me ask you this.. Why would GM start putting steel shift forks in the newer Z06 transmissions (from mid-year 2003 models on) if there wasn't a problem with the aluminum shift forks?

Bob
