Red Z Man,

My left headlight has been squeeking lately also. Time to take it by the dealer. It might be the cold, at least for me.

I had the same thing happen to me recently….sounds like a dying crow under the hood. Had my wife cycling them up and down as I carefully put a few shots of WD-40 onto various parts of the lifting mechanism. The squeak finally stopped when I got to the upper hinge (closest to the top of the headlight) almost right between the headlight and the painted fiberglass cover. I could only get to this spot from the back of the headlight with the hood open.

My driver's side headlight just started doing this a couple of days ago also. That high pitched squeak is a real head turner

yep, its my driver's side also. I will try the WD-40 approach and if that doesn't work, I guess I will have to make the 1st trip to the dealer . Thanks for all of the help guys.

Just happened to me a couple days ago. I think it's the bitter cold out here. Not too worried about it. Had to take her out for a ride. It was actually dry with clear roads for once.
