Headlights out of adjustment- How do I aim them? - Z06Vette.com

Just replaced the bulbs with the Sylvania bulbs - boy what a difference! Anyway, I noticed that my driver's side beam is a little low ( I might have knocked it out of whack putting the bulb in - that one gave me a fit) Anyway, how do i adjust the headlight to level out the beams? Seems it would be an easy fix. Any suggestions?

I had the same thing happen to me. It looks like the adjuster is a Torx. Unless you have a headlight alignment kit, use a wall or garage door to align.

Make sure that you have the bulb seated correctly, when I changed mine they look OK up close but when I was driving I noticed the tree tops were lighting up. Sure enought when I checked one blub was not seated correctly, took it out and re-seated it and everything was fine.

Good advice. I thought I had seated the bulb correctly but I was wrong. Thank god no one replied with detailed instructions because I would have had an improperly seated bulb and a mis-aligned light!
