Help with new sound after install

I recently had a h/c package installed, all new double springs, rods, valves, etc. (stock rockers) + mild cam, good numbers sounds good at idle, BUT it had a slight ticking(not knocking)sound prior, now it is louder, is this normal or should I investigate something and what?

I had a similar sound in my 02 z28 and 04 coupe but not as loud. if this is normal what can be done to tone the noise down(other than the bose ) thanks in advance for the help

Probably just increased valvetrain noise from the higher lift/longer duration cam. Hard to tell. Ask your installer. This is an issue with the LSx motors although it isn't usually anything to worry about.

That would be my guess as well. Louder exhaust will take care of most of it

HIgher lift longer duration cam+new heavy-duty valve springs=increased valve train noise. Small price to pay for the power increase. Very common in LS motors that have been cammed up. Nothing to worry about and you'll get used to it pretty quick.
