HELP! Rear Axle Leak

All, I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. I have an 01 Z, I have not been driving it hard, I get home from work and park the car. The wife tells me my new frame savers and rocker rails are in the garage so I go there to discover the smell of axle lube so I check the rear of the Z and theres a small, bout the size of 3 quarters, puddle of rear axle lube on the floor. It appears that its on the left side of the car. Have any of you had this problem? The car is under warranty so the dealer will fix it. I am more curious if any of you had this problem in the past. My other concern is that the dealer will trash my rocker panels so I am videoing them prior to taking the car to the dealer so I'll have proof that they were perfect before I go there!
All help is much appreciated and THANK you all in advance.
Jim
