Spent the whole day at the shop today getting the short block out and ready for shipping back to LME on Monday. Once I got the oil pan off, my educated guess was confirmed,,,#2 rod spun a bearing! No Worries,,,
It'll be taken care of! Here's some pics from today:
Hahahaha,,,I'm getting pretty good at this, now only if my paisan buddy from Southgate would belly up to the bar and ask me for help, he just might get his car back on the road for next year's fest, so I can humble him again!

Jim,
Hopefully you took some time to enjoy a few refreshments during your work. Sorry you had to go through this AGAIN!!!
Fast forward 6 weeks and you're behind the wheel driving the Z to see Lauren for Thanksgiving! In reality you will be driving the truck with baby stuff packed in the back right?

Jim,
Wow... when I move to DC next summer I either want a house with a garage like yours on my property, or enough property to make a garage like yours. I've been working in a cramped two car garage for too many years now...

Good luck with the repairs.
Brad,
Wish the shop was mine, but I'm renting space from a good friend on the cheap. I do have a large shop here on my property, but it's full of my construction equipment and parts, and no heat and lights YET. I will move the lift into my own place once I finish it in a few years as time and money permit. But for now, this is working out just fine, and both my friend and me will benefit from having a 2 post lift at our disposal.
