High speed pass-rough engine mode

I was driving home yesterday from Gerogia from my son's wedding and had a unusual Z experience. I was in 5th gear at about 60mph and decided to do high speed pass on the car running 10mph under the limit. I executed the pass and got up to about 90 when I moved back over and started backing down. After I was down to 70 the car felt like I had a tire going bad or out of balance. This was not the problem I went over to the far right lane and backed down to 50 and it was the engine running like some of the spark plug were not firing or I was in some sort of fault mode. The engine ran very very rough and weak. I never got close to the rev limiter. No messages were displayed in the DIC. I had been running for about 2hours since the last stop for gas and all the engine gauges showed normal temperatures and pressure. I got off at the next exit and got soemthing to eat after looking under the dood for something out of place. When I started up again everthing was back to normal. I think I may have seen this once before but it was not so strong. Any ideas what to look for before taking it to the dealer?

Pull the out codes at the DIC and see if one is a H code

There were some H codes in there but research showed they were related to when i disconnected the battery to intall my PIAA 1100X driving lights.
I put the car in the shop and they told me I must have hit the rev limiter even though I did not think I could at 4th gear and 85-90 in a high speed passing situation. There were no codes in the DIC. Another thread here that I found suggests it might have engaged the limiter because of the traction control system I don't know. I guess I will run with my G-Tech Comp Pro meter on all the time and set the red line number a little lower than the 6500 limit so I get a warning.

Panzer:

If you only went down to 4th and pulled a 60-90 mph pass, you did not hit the rev-limiter.

Clear your codes and see if you can get the car to do it again. If it does, stop and recheck the codes.

You wouldn't have even hit the rev limited in 3rd at 90mph (although close).

Check your injectors, one could be going bad and would give you those same problems you had.

What you can do is check the impedence of the injector with an ohm meter by popping the connector off of it and measuring the resistance across the terminals.

I'm not sure of the resistance you should see, but I can look it up when I get home.
