How does the TC/AH work?

I notice if I hit the button it turns both off or on. Is this supposed to work this way?

Push and hold it to go in Comp mode. This will let the rear wheels spin without having to worry about the computer shutting you down. Your DIC will read "Comp Mode". Push "reset" to clear that message.
