How to reset "Change Oil" and "O% oil Life Remaining Indicators"
I know, I know... it's in the manual... but unfortunately, I misplaced my manual for my 2002 EB Z06... can someone be nice enough as to tell me how to reset these indicators? Thanks in advance.
Get to the DIC display that shows oil life remaining, press and HOLD Reset until the reset occurs.

Ready to embrace the aging process, but I can't lift my arms.

That's the way you reset every Chevrolet that doesn't have a DIC.

That's the way you do it!! You don't need to hit the gas pedal but turn the key to run and off three times and it resets. It will not reset by simply holding the reset button.
Trailer park procedure:
Jack up the rear, place the car on two sturdy crates, start the car, put it in reverse and throttle up to 3000 rpm.
Come back in a week.

Read the manual. It will work both ways, Really! The manual says to use the reset on the DIC.

It will, as long as the engine is *not* running. Made the same mistake myself and kept wonder "why the hell won't this thing reset". It must be done with the engine off.
