How's your MPG on the road....????

Just curious.......since we completed break in, we averaging around 23.4 MPG in cruise at 70-75MPH......on our road trip home to Seattle from the NCM.

Just wondering how that stacks up...(and we are LOADED DOWN!!!)

It will get better. I can get about 24mpg cruising around 90 on trips. A little loaded down.

I drive about 30 miles each way to work. If I drive it hard I'll get 18 MPG, If I take it easy I can get 22.5 no problem. About 10 miles of the 30 are getting to the highway.

Generally low twenties. Driving around 65mph, during the day, I was getting 29. With the headlights up, I lost almost 2mpg

I haven't averaged 30 on a long trip yet. Maybe if I drove 55....

During my trip from from Loganville, GA to San Jose, CA (total distance 2,600 miles) I averaged 27 mpg. My current average, which includes mostly city driving, is 16.7 mpg. I think its time I install the CAGS defeat plug; shifting from 1st to 2nd at 3000rpm is turning out to be expensive. BTW, the car currently has 4000 miles on the odometer.

Put 650 miles on Wolfie this past weekend cruising Central Texas looking at Bluebonnets (and other things, hehehe!). Averaged 24.2 for the trip, running about 75-80 average, with bursts up to 130. I'm pretty happy with that !

I have been getting better than 400 (S)miles per tank and that is 100% average inc warm up, rompings and cruising. It comes out to about 24 MPG's and I am happy with that. I would be happy with 10 MPG's but luckily I get better. Bill
