I dropped the car off at MC today

It is going to get new forged rods and pistons with coated bearings. A new 8 rib overdriven balencer, New cam, springs, and pushrods, 60# injectors, LG pro long tubes with cats, Meth inj kit, Re-pully the blower for more boost. + a set of T-1 sway bars with quiet end links. Matt says 600 rwhp should be no problem. Can't wait to see what it does.

Sounds like a monster build!

Looking forward to seeing the results

All this talk about building a monster like that makes me want to forget about buying a bigger house and building a bigger hp beast. Cant wait to hear about it.

I have a question for Mike. What have you done to the rear end of your car. With the new mods should I add any more beef? Will I be I be OK with just the DTE brace? 18inch ET streets are the stickeyest tires I will ever have on it. Thanks, Hal

Hal, except for the T-400 tranny, Yank convertor, tranny cooler and DTE tranny/diff brace, my rear is stock. We were trying to get DTE to build us a spooled differential but they are not being very cooperative. I suspect we will simply rebuild the diff using GM oem parts. It's lasted through an awful lot of track passes but it's nearing its end I think.

Probably one of the best mods I made a while back was the QA-1 adjustable shocks. By softening the rear shocks a bunch, my traction and 'squat off the line' have improved immeasurably. Might be something to consider if you're gonna take it to the drags fairly often.
