Thanks As far as wax goes... I used Meguiar's (not sure which variant).
I've only waxed it 2 or 3 times in 6 years. It's probably been 3 years since it's last waxing I think the key to a nice finish is keeping the car stored inside. Which mine has been since new. I'm also pretty particular about how I clean it. Giving an extra effort not to haze up the clear coat.
Thanks for all the positve responses, guys I'm very pleased with how well it turned out. I couldn't have done it without the helpful info from the members on here as well as the CF. My friend Clark was a big help too... a great (patient) mechanic.
Dan, your car looks GREAT. Those wheels are just perfect on a Red car, and the stance of the car is perfect, too.
I guess the reason you went with the Advans is size, right ? Nitto should really add a 19" size for the RII, I thought I heard a while back that this was coming. It would make sense, most Z owners who run larger aftermarket wheels also run additional aftermarket power -- they need Nittos the most.
Thanks!
I wanted the 18/19 setup. IMO it just looks better on these cars. It's a shame there isn't more choices in 19s. The only thing close is a 325/19 road race tire. I feel like the Advans will be fine for what I'm going to be using them for.
where did you get the depo lights from? i saw them on that big auction site that i cant mention since they arent a forum vendor and was was worried that the quality just wouldnt be there, especially for the price they were going for. are they well sealed so they wont fog up?
I'm sending you a PM with a link to the place I got them from. I paid less than $100 shipped. The quality is there. At least as good as OEM.
Very, very nice. Can you tell me what the backspacing is for your wheels?
Thanks,
-RR
RR,
The backspacing info isn't on the order sheet. All that's on there is this:
The 18x9.5 front has +47mm offset w/ 1.5" of outer width and the 19x11 rear has +54mm offset w/ 3" of outer width.
Tell me what to measure and the next time I have them off the car I'll measure it for you.

Thanks very much for the specs. I'm trying to determine if those calipers you have would fit with the wheels I currently have. It appears that they just might. My offsets are +53 front and +59 rear.
I just wanted to post an update after putting 4K miles on these mods...
The iForged wheels are holding up fine, but now that it's crappy weather time, I've been decided to work out a slight vibration that I'm feeling in the steering wheel. Turns out that one of the front wheels has a little runout in it.
.029" of lateral rim runout & .031" of radial rim runout both on the inside of the wheel. Nothing major, but for the price of these wheels, I want it right. iForged guarantees no more than .020" of runout. I've sent the wheel back and hopefully they'll take care of me.
The powder coating is holding up well. The lips polish up nicely and it's nice being able to buff out blems caused by the tire machine, rocks, etc...
The Advans are performing as expected... a joke at the drag strip (12.9 vs. 11.6 w/ slicks), but decent on the street and suprisingly well on the tiny little auto-x track @ the Z06fest. I got fastest time of the day and I'm proud of that considering the competition.
They grip well on the curvy backroads and communicate well when at the limit. Of course this is the first tires I've tried with the Pfadt coilovers, so I don't really have a reference. I'm sure the coilovers are contributing a good deal to the overall feeling. I've found that leaving the C/R at 8 clicks is just right for me. I did set the rears at 6 for the drags and auto-x to try and get a little more traction.
The ride quality with the Pfadts still amazes me and my front air dam and aprons are about 1" from the ground! Wheel hop is history!!!
Still lovin' the SLP. The only negatives:
The rear piping will touch the bottom of the fascia when the system is hot. I've had to get under and adjust it a couple of times. Unfortunately some of the plastic melted. It's not noticeble unless you're under the car looking for it.
I think I've got it adjusted right now and there seems to being just enough of an air gap to prevent further damage. All of this can be avoided if you pay particular attention to this when you first install the system. Be sure to push the "over the axle" pipes as far forward as possible.
The 1 pc aluminum tip gets a little hazy after some use and it seems impossible getting it back to it's original shine. I've tried wet sanding and a mini powerball. I might just have it Jet Hot coated or powder coated.
The DEPO corners are still good. They get the occasional condensation inside the lens after a wash like the stockers did, but it clears up after the lights are on for a little while.
Anyway, just wanted to follow up and give a review in case some of y'all are considering any of these mods.
