Re: Latest Mods: Pfadt Coilovers, iForged Wheels, SLP Exhaust, Etc...

You've made up my mind on the IForged Aero's!

I've got a TR 03Z06 and have been looking at a used set of 19x9.5 and 20x11 Aero's with the hyperblack centers and your pictures just helped me make my decision! I have been looking for a long time for pics of a Torch Red Z06 with these wheels on it, THANK YOU!

Your car is awesome!

Tyler

On my scales here I have the factory suspension, leafs and shocks, tipping the scales at 35.5 lbs. The Pfadt Coil Overs come in at 32.5 for a weight savings of 3 lbs.

We are also in development of a new coil over that comes in at a staggering 26 lbs! See the full details here.

One thing to keep in mind with unsprung mass is the leaf springs are both sprung and unsprung so you can not simply neglect the weight of them for unsprung mass calculations.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Man that is one MAD Machine! You have made that car what every Z06 represents. The heart and soul of our passion for American Made Supercars that get no international respect. I am not a Euro hater. I lust after the financially unobtainable (at least for me) Supercars like the ZR1, Enzo, LP660, Carrera GT, C6Z06, and yes even the new Nissan GT-R. If I had the money at my desposal I would by the ZR1 but I would find it hard to molest it with mods. so I would also but a C6 Z06 and mod. the crap out of it. Sorry if that takes your thread off topic but I didn't want haters attacking.

The only question I have is why didn't you make it a double adjustable with independent compression and rebound settings?
