Mild Engine Mods: Questions

I'm toying with the idea of moving my 2004 C5 Z06 from Super Stock to A Street Prepared next year (SCCA autocross classes). Much of what I would do would be suspension mods.

But I'm trying to determine the value of doing some of the light engine mods that are permitted by the class. Like:

--Street Headers, retaining the existing cats and my current Borla Stinger catback.

--An intake, like the Halltech, or a Callaway.

--A tune.

Ok, this isn't exactly revolutionary, but it isn't real expensive either, and it might make the car a little quicker.

Question: if the car currently dynos at 365 RWP, 365 RWT, what will these mods get me?

I'd really appreciate any input.

Headers, intake, and a tune should get you around 390 rwhp. Sounds like you've got a strong car based on the current numbers.

Re: Mild Engine Mods: Questions

A tune for sure! That will help a lot. I would recommend LG Pro long tube headers and thier cats.

I alos really like the Callaway intake.

Those will work very well together and should be super reliable on the track with a stock engine.

I agree on the HP level already mentioned. 25hp easily.
