Well, I've calmed down a bit from my initial pissed-state-of-mind I was in. I went out and cleaned my wheels, put some dressing on the tires and made a few calls. If I can get DT to pay next day delivery, iForged will get the wheel fixed in a day and overnight it back to me.

After reading a few wise posts, I guess this is the best I should expect, as DT is probably doing more than they have to. Hopefully I can get this thing resolved and I won't have to drive my car around looking stupid for more than a few days.

You have to understand my frustration . . . I've been waiting 2 months for these wheels, I get them and am blown away with how awesome they look, and within 90 minutes of UPS dropping them off, one is damaged. That would be like a 16 year-old who just got his driver license, and his Dad got him a new Z06, and the next day it had to go in the shop for a column lock bypass fix.

Oops, my bad! I thought it was weird. I didn't remember any 6 spoke designs on the HREs, but in the pictures, they sure fooled me. For all I know, HRE has 3 or 4 different 6 spoke wheels. They've always been out of my acceptable price range. Pretty, though. I like the IForged. They look very nice on your car J.

I would have been just as upset as you. I think DT should stand by what the Asst. Mgr told you, IMHO. But at lesat they offered to work with you. Good luck.

i'd be pissed as hell if they said one thing one day and did another thing the next day.talk about people being moronic nit pickers. the manager( or whoever was there on the second day!!) acts like the money is coming out of his pocket if dt replaces the whole wheel.

Awesome! I assumed they would step up and help you out in your time of need FWIW, I completely understand your initial frustration and anger. Sometimes it takes a few hours and some calming down before you can properly analyze the situation.

Good luck!

Go over his head and go to the top at DT Corporate. I've had many a situation over the years where the guy in the trench won't budge and the guy at the top was very eager make it right. For example, 2 loan writers at a certain bank told me the best rate I could get on a car loan was 9.9% for 72 months. And they insisted this was the best they could do!Well I called the main bank and got a manager on the phone who didn't understand the reason for this, and looked into it, called back the following day and I now have 7% for 60 months! Good Luck!

Quite the story listed above. I think we all can feel your frustration. However, it sounds like you are well on the way to a good solution. Good Luck
